Four technology fields that move the metalworking industry: with this in mind, we introduced the METAV Area concept in 2016. At the area joint stands, highly complex topics are examined in a differentiated manner, and technological contexts are comprehensively presented and explored in depth, always with a clear focus on central industry issues.
The areas have not only become established in recent years, but have also developed into a highlight of the trade show. In the process, connections have been made that go beyond the topics of the thematic focal points Additive Manufacturing, Medical, Molding and Quality. The technology fields not only fit together well, but also cross-fertilize each other in business practice. Additive manufacturing has become an integral part of medical technology and is increasingly finding its way into molding, while quality assurance and metrology are at home in all areas of metalworking. In order to leverage these synergy effects, both technically and with a view to networking, we have combined the joint stands into one large METAV Area at METAV 2022: as a visitor, you will not only experience expertise at the highest level, but will also find all competences from the fields of additive manufacturing, medical, molding and quality bundled on one stand.
