Back in business BELFOR DeHaDe specialises in repairing, maintaining and restoring machinery and plant
22/02/2010
Machines that arise, phoenix-like, from the ashes are a familiar topic for BELFOR DeHaDe. Located in the German city of Hamm and serving an international clientele, the company recovers machinery and plant, and also takes care of maintenance, repairs and restoration. In many cases, restoration is a more economical option, and much more efficient for operating reasons, than a new acquisition.
Although engineering and technology are important, they are not the only key factors. In some instances, maintaining a customer's trust can depend on the reliability of a single machine – such is the way of the world. A machine breakdown can bring an entire works to a standstill and put good customer relationships to the test. Such situations can be avoided by various means. One way is to keep operations running as smoothly as possible. But what if a complex machine suddenly becomes outdated, is operating too inefficiently, or is simply damaged? Procuring a new machine or plant can take months or, in unfavourable circumstances, even more than a year. In such cases, BELFOR DeHaDe is the company to call. It analyses the financial and time expenditure required to restore or repair existing equipment. It is for the customer to decide whether the input is justifiable. If a repair is feasible, BELFOR DeHaDe can carry out the necessary work. It employs a team of 78 employees with outstanding specialist knowledge, extensive experience and a broad array of skills.
The company's experts, including electronics and mechanical engineers, toolmakers and machine fitters, are familiar with many branches of industry. The list of references is long and encompasses major names in the automotive and semiconductor industries, as well as reputable small and medium-size enterprises in the mechanical engineering, toolmaking, woodworking and agricultural machinery sectors. Practically every company, from telecoms and aerospace corporations to power station operators, has to address the issues of maintenance, repair an renovation at some time. In these disciplines, BELFOR DeHaDe can achieve a lot for its quality-conscious customers.
BELFOR DeHaDe has an annual turnover of around 15 million euros and belongs to BELFOR-Relectronic GmbH, the German subsidiary of BELFOR Europe GmbH, which is the international market leader in the restoration of damage caused by fire, water and natural forces. Within this constellation, BELFOR DeHaDe is the specialist service provider for all issues concerning plant and machinery. It maintains good contacts with machine builders and plant construction companies, based on an outstanding reputation developed over the years. BELFOR DeHaDe does not seek to compete with manufacturers, but acts in partnership with a common goal, to put the customer's high-quality operations back on track as quickly as possible.
The express goal of BELFOR DeHaDe is to offer customers an affordable, prompt and professional response to their repair, overhaul, modernisation and restoration needs concerning machinery and plant. Cooperation enables machine builders to have less common types of damage repaired by an external service provider. In any event, BELFOR DeHaDe wishes to serve as a valuable partner for all the parties involved in its projects: the operator, the service team and the manufacturer.
